A classic baked ziti.

Ingredients
Pasta
- 1 lb dry ziti pasta
Meat Sauce
- 1 whole onion — chopped
- 1 lb lean ground turkey — replaces ground beef
- 52 oz spaghetti sauce — two 26 oz jars
Cream Layer
- 1.5 cups plain nonfat Greek yogurt — replaces sour cream
Cheese
- 6 oz provolone cheese — sliced
- 6 oz mozzarella cheese — shredded
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1.Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add ziti pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain.
- 2.In a large skillet over medium heat cook onion and ground turkey until browned.
- 3.Add spaghetti sauce to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 4.Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- 5.Layer ingredients in the baking dish: half of the cooked ziti, provolone cheese, Greek yogurt, half of the sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese, and remaining sauce.
- 6.Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
- 7.Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
